Peeking Through The Milkweed ...

“One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.”

            ~ William Shakespeare

               ~ 1564 ~ 1616

In the softness of a summer twilight, a sweet white-tailed deer doe peeks through the milkweed on a beautiful mid-July evening at Trexler Memorial Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Doe In The Summer Wind ...

“The summer wind came blowin’ in …

It lingered there so warm and fair to

walk with me …”

         ~ “Summer Wind”

          ~best known for 1966 recording

                  by Frank Sinatra

The summer wind blows and billows around a sweet white-tailed deer doe on a beautiful late June evening in summer, my most favorite of seasons, then lingers there so warm and fair to walk with her at Trexler Memorial Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania in this high-contrast monochrome shot.

Doe Of A Midsummer Night ...

“If we can teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save what they love.”
                         ~ Steve Irwin
                               ~ 1962-2006
My favorite white-tailed deer doe pauses from grazing as she watches me walk up the hill to give her an apple – or two! – on a beautiful July evening in the park.

I’ve been blessed to photograph this doe and her fawns since 2012, and it’s a true joy to me personally and as a photographer.
