Yee Haw ! ...

“That it will never come again is what makes life sweet. Dwell in possibility. Find ecstasy in life; the mere sense of living is joy enough.”
                    ~ Emily Dickinson
                          ~ 1830-1886
A female common merganser duck shows off her wingspan and seems to say “Yee Haw!” as she relishes the beauty of an early September afternoon at Budd M. Jones Municipal Park, Belvidere, New Jersey.

Local Honey ...

“Life is the flower for which love is the honey.”
                ~ Victor Hugo
                   ~ 1802-1885

Local honey is for sale on the front porch of one of the colorful houses in Belvidere, New Jersey, a bright and fun touch of Americana on a late summer September day.

Belvidere, one of my very favorite places, is a charming Victorian town located on the banks of the Pequest and Delaware Rivers.

The Town In The Window ...

“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”
                    ~ Henri Matisse
                              ~ 1869-1954
Beautiful flowers pop with color in the window of Fragrant Designs Florist, Belvidere, New Jersey, greeting the town reflected in the window on a rare warm February afternoon just after Valentine’s Day.
