“November
comes And November goes
With
the last red berries and the first white snows.
With
night coming early,
And
dawn coming late,
And
ice in the bucket
And
frost by the gate.
The
fires burn
And
the kettles sing,
And
earth to sinks to rest
Until
next spring.”

Goes”

Autumn
meets winter as fall foliage reflects in the path wetted by melted snow on the
afternoon of November 16, 2018 – a day after the season’s first snowfall – at
Trexler Memorial Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania. The pre-Thanksgiving snowfall
blanketed the region with eight inches of snow.
