My favorite white-tailed deer doe
spots me on the bank and crosses the
snowy creek to say hello as sunset draws near
on a winter's day in the park.
I've been blessed to photograph this doe
and her fawns since 2012, and it's a
true joy to me personally and as a photographer.
Beautiful young white-tailed deer buck pauses in the winter brush
just before a December sunset in the park.
"All good things are wild and free."

A wild, free and beautiful red fox pup
peers out into an October evening
at Trexler Memorial Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania.
This Great Blue Heron may well be contemplating how fast the summer flew by while perched at the historic Wehr's Dam on a late September afternoon.
The dam, built in 1904, is next to Wehr's Covered Bridge, which dates back to 1841, at Covered Bridge Park, Orefield, Pennsylvania.
