Jersey Autumntide ...

"Autumn burned brightly, a running flame through the mountains,

a torch flung to the trees."

                               ~ author Faith Baldwin

                                                     ~ 1893-1978

A beautiful pop of autumn color blazes brightly in the hilly terrain
of historic Phillipsburg, New Jersey overlooking The Northampton Street Bridge
as viewed from across the Delaware River in Easton, Pennsylvania
at a November sunset.

The Northampton Street Bridge - commonly called The Free Bridge - that spans
the states was completed in 1896 and survived massive flooding from
Hurricane Diane in 1955. It underwent a thorough restoration in 1990
and is one of my very favorite places to photograph.

Spring Charm Video ...

Etta James' beautiful, jazzy "A Sunday Kind of Love" sets the mood for this
celebration of spring showcased by my original photos. My greatest joy
as a photographer is harmonizing my favorite original photos to music to create a lasting
snapshot of the season. Enjoy!

Trimmed In Twilight ...

"Sweet memories of ... twilights trimmed in purple haze
And laughing eyes and simple ways
And quiet nights and gentle days with you
Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind ..."

                                        ~ "Memories"
~ recorded by the great Elvis Presley
                                                                                      ~ 1968

Bridging Twilight ...

"Twilight drops her curtain down and pins it with a star."

                                                                          1874-1942

Twilight begins to steal across the waning summer sky
like a painter of dreams over Easton, Pennsylvania as viewed from across
the Delaware River in Phillipsburg, New Jersey next to the historic
Northampton Street Bridge, commonly called The Free Bridge.
The bridge that spans the states was completed in 1896 and
survived damage from massive flooding from Hurricane Diane
in 1955. It underwent a thorough restoration in 1990, and is one of my very

Bridging Sunset ...

"Life is a train of moods like a string of beads; and as we
pass through them they prove to be many colored lenses,
which paint the world their own hue, and each shows
us only what lies in its own focus."
                                  ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
                                                              1803-1882

"Winter makes a bridge between one year and another
and, in this case, one century and the next."
