Just Precious ...

“One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.”
             ~ William Shakespeare
                ~ 1564-1616
Just Precious are the words that popped into my mind when I saw this sweet white-tailed deer fawn peeking out from the brush where she was grazing – with her mama doe closeby – on a gorgeous July evening in the park.

Afternoon Of A Fawn ...

I spotted the sweetest sight of summer – a beautiful white-tailed deer fawn – in the early afternoon of a beautiful July day along the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (D&L Trail)  near the East Penn Township Trailhead in Bowmanstown, Pennsylvania.

I was surprised to see this white-spotted cutie so early in the afternoon, with its mama doe close by.

Running from Wilkes-Barre to Bristol, the D&L Trail passes through the Lehigh and Delaware rivers and their canals in Pennsylvania.

It doesn’t get sweeter than this, seeing a beautiful white-tailed deer fawn tenderly nuzzling its mama doe on a gorgeous July evening in the park – a honey of a summer sight!
