Tenderly ...

Beautiful white-tailed deer doe shares a tender moment
with her button buck on an October evening in the park.
I've been blessed to photograph this doe and her fawns
for two and a half years, and it's truly a joy to me
personally and as a photographer!

X's & O's ...

"Life without love is like
a tree without blossoms or fruit."
                            ~ Khalil Gibran
                        ~   1883-1931

I saw these X's and O's - symbols of hugs and kisses - etched on a tree on an autumn afternoon at
Lehigh Parkway, Allentown, Pennsylvania,
just in time for Sweetest Day!

The Eyes Of Love ...

Beautiful white-tailed deer doe casts a watchful, loving
eye on her fawn. Someday this sweet fawn will be
a proud buck, but on this late summer evening in
the park he was happy grazing with his mother.

I've been blessed to photograph this doe and
her fawns for more than two years, and it's a
real joy!

Splendor In The Spring Video ...

Ella Fitzgerald's "My One And Only Love" sets the jazzy backdrop
for the this celebration of the splendor that is spring showcased in
my original nature photos. My greatest joy as a photographer is
harmonizing my favorite original photos to music to create
a lingering snapshot of the season.

Close To You ...

"Why do birds suddenly appear
Every time you are near?
Just like me they long to be
close to you."
                    "Close To You"
~ Burt Bacharach & Hal David
                                                   1963

Perhaps these mourning doves were thinking
of the song made popular by the Carpenters as they
shared a spot on the wire on a summer afternoon
in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Runneth Over ...

"I memorize moments that I'm fondest of ...
And so in these moments with sunlight above
My cup runneth over with love ...."
                                ~ "My Cup Runneth Over"
                                               ~ "I Do! I Do!"
                                                                ~1966

Summer streams over the crest of the creek
at one of my favorite spots at Trexler Memorial Park,
Allentown, Pennsylvania, bringing to mind the
beautiful words of that song.

This moment was captured in a long exposure, high contrast monochrome shot.

He's So Fine ...

"He's so fine, wish he were mine ..."
                       ~ "He's So Fine"
                                      ~ The Chiffons,
                                                         1963

It seems this white domestic duck may have been
impressed with the other duck's splashing antics, thinking,
"He's so fine!" on a June evening at
Trexler Memorial Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Ah, summer love!

Never My Love ...

"What makes you think love will end
When you know that my whole life
depends on you ...
Never my love ..."
                        "Never My Love,"
                               ~ The Association, 1967

The life of the rosebud is intertwined
with that of the rose in full bloom, which colors it with life
on a June day at
the Malcolm W. Gross Memorial Rose Gardens,
Allentown, Pennsylvania.

All You Need Is Love ...

"... All you need is love, love
Love is all you need."
                           ~ Lennon & McCartney
                                               1967

You can just hear the Beatles singing their great song
when seeing the simple joys of childhood
and family love in focus in this candid shot
on Memorial Day at Wehr's Dam, Orefield, Pennsylvania.

Love In The Wings ...

Precious Canadian geese goslings nestle in the wings of their
mama on the day before Mother's Day 2014 at
Trexler Memorial Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Love, Sweet Love ...

"What the world needs now
is love, sweet love ..."
~ "What The World Needs Now Is Love"
                                       ~ Burt Bacharach & Hal David, 1965

The pose of this beautiful white-tailed deer doe and her fawn last
evening in the park reminded me of the wonderful song composed by
Burt Bacharach with lyrics by Hal David in 1965.

And That's Love ...

"Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be ..."
                                                               ~ Robert Browning

It warmed my heart to see this scene yesterday on the Saucon Rail Trail, Hellertown, Pennsylvania.

Sharing the Love

Beautiful white-tailed deer fawn, a button buck, shares a snowy apple with his mama doe in February.
