The Candid Doe ...
“If
you are not filled with overflowing love, compassion and goodwill for all
creatures living wild in nature, you will never know true happiness.”
~ Paul Oxton
~ founder & director
of Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation
My
favorite white-tailed deer doe seems to say hello as she strikes a candid pose
while seeing me walking toward her on a beautiful July evening in the park.
I’ve
been blessed to photograph this doe and her fawns since 2012, and it’s a true
joy to me personally and as a photographer.

Doe Of A Midsummer Night ...
“If
we can teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife
with me. Because humans want to save what they love.”
~ Steve Irwin
~ 1962-2006
My
favorite white-tailed deer doe pauses from grazing as she watches me walk up
the hill to give her an apple – or two! – on a beautiful July evening in the
park.
I’ve
been blessed to photograph this doe and her fawns since 2012, and it’s a true joy
to me personally and as a photographer.
