Young and old alike share in the fine, simple joy of the fishing life amid the quiet beauty of a spring evening, as the waters of the Jordan Creek spill over Wehr’s Dam to then flow beneath Wehr’s Covered Bridge in this monochrome capture I shot in mid-May.

The dam, built in 1904, is next to Wehr’s Covered Bridge, which dates back to 1841, at Covered Bridge Park, Orefield, Pennsylvania.
