Doe Of A Midsummer Night ...

“If we can teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save what they love.”
                         ~ Steve Irwin
                               ~ 1962-2006
My favorite white-tailed deer doe pauses from grazing as she watches me walk up the hill to give her an apple – or two! – on a beautiful July evening in the park.

I’ve been blessed to photograph this doe and her fawns since 2012, and it’s a true joy to me personally and as a photographer.

Still Gold ...

It’s still gold as the peaceful beauty of an early November afternoon paints itself in a reflection in the Lehigh Canal along the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (D&L Trail), Weissport, Pennsylvania, where the trail is positioned between the Lehigh River and Lehigh Canal.

Running from Wilkes-Barre to Bristol, the D&L Trail passes through the Lehigh and Delware Rivers and their canals in Pennsylvania.
