Young Deer Of Spring ...

“Love … it surrounds every being and extends slowly to embrace all that shall be.”
                     ~ Khalil Gibran
                         ~ 1883-1931
What a sweet sight to see these beautiful white-tailed deer in spring, as a beautiful button buck and young doe gaze at each other as they graze on an April evening in the park.

Summer Velvet ...

“The soul that sees beauty may sometimes walk alone.”
                 ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
                                 ~ 1749-1842

The afternoon light dances on the velvet antlers of this majestic yearling on an August day at Lehigh Parkway, Allentown, Pennsylvania.

I was happily surprised to see this young white-tailed deer buck so early in the day, as he posed for a few photos before continuing to follow a beautiful doe down the summer path.

Summer Yearling ...

Beautiful white-tailed deer yearling strikes a regal pose
in the park on a summer evening.
I've been blessed to photograph this young buck's
mama doe and her fawns for two years.

Wishing On A Star

As sweet yearling "freshens up" his gaze looks like he could be wishing on a star

My Favorite Yearling

It's been a joy to watch this sweet and beautiful white-tailed deer grow over the past year. I've
been photographing him since he was a fawn in the park, and now he's a yearling!
